WHO WE ARE
The Greater Milwaukee Committee, founded in the late 1940's, is a private sector civic organization whose mission is to make Milwaukee the best place to live, learn, work, play and stay. By focusing on the issues of tomorrow, today, our cross-sectoral member network of almost 200 of Milwaukee's business leaders engages in a variety of programs and initiatives in the areas of innovation and talent, economic prosperity, and place-based vibrancy.

We comprise 200 passionate CEOs and other community leaders who work together to make Milwaukee the best place to live, learn, work, play and stay. We convene and collaborate with other organizations and groups in the community to create new ideas and implement solutions to advance innovation and talent, economic prosperity, and vibrancy of place in the Milwaukee region.

MOVE FORWARD MKE
Move Forward MKE supports giving Milwaukee County voters the power to decide if Milwaukee County and its 19 municipalities should be allowed to generate the revenue to adequately fund public services, maintain facilities, provide tax relief and invest in the future through a binding referendum process.
The GMC ensures Milwaukee is the best place to live, learn, work, play, and stay.
