Newest Work Updated November 13, 2023

WHO WE ARE

The Greater Milwaukee Committee, founded in the late 1940s, is a private-sector civic organization whose mission is to make Milwaukee the best place to live, learn, work, play, and stay for all. By focusing on the issues of tomorrow, today, our cross-sectoral member network of almost 200 of Milwaukee's business leaders engages in a variety of programs and initiatives in the areas of innovation and talent, economic prosperity, and place-based vibrancy.

WE KNOW MILWAUKEE IS A GREAT CITY

We comprise 200 passionate CEOs and other community leaders who work together to make Milwaukee the best place to live, learn, work, play, and stay for all. Driven by research and guided by our principles, we seek and support innovative solutions to community challenges.  We convene and collaborate with other organizations and groups in the community to create new ideas and implement solutions, increase engagement in the community, and advance quality of life. We are currently focused on prioritizing the fiscal strength of our region, education, public safety, and infrastructure, all of which play an important role in creating a vibrant community.
