GMC’s Public Safety Committee is advancing a 100-day action plan focused on strengthening workforce pathways as one strategy to improve public safety in Milwaukee. The effort will connect interested GMC member organizations with existing workforce partners, including Employ Milwaukee and JobWorks MKE, to identify hiring opportunities, entry-level roles, training pathways, job fair participation, and other practical ways employers can engage. Early outreach to member organizations is underway, with strong initial interest in exploring how coordinated business engagement can support safer communities and expanded economic opportunity.
