Visit Milwaukee is beginning work on Milwaukee’s first Destination Master Plan, and GMC members will have an early opportunity to help shape it. This interactive session will explore the projects, investments and big ideas that could strengthen Milwaukee’s visitor economy while making our community an even better place to live, work, play and stay.
After a brief look at what destination master planning has unlocked in other cities, local leaders will share what they believe could move Milwaukee forward. Then, GMC members will roll up their sleeves for a table discussion about the opportunities Milwaukee should pursue. Ideas gathered during the session will help inform the planning process and will be shared with the consultant leading the work.
