Engaging Milwaukee’s Youth: Summer 2026 Planning Session 

The calendar and the weather remind us that summer is over – school has begun, leaves are changing, and the Brewers are division champs – all telltale signs of fall. With the lessons of the summer of 2025 fresh in our minds, the Greater Milwaukee Committee is bringing together business, faith, nonprofit, civic, and community leaders to lean into the summer of 2026 and how we can take concrete steps to ensure that kids have access to enjoyment. Building on a full-day conversation with youth-serving organizations earlier this fall, this session will focus on how the business, nonprofit, and faith-based communities, together with our local elected officials, can collaborate with existing organizations to expand access and reduce barriers, ultimately leading to more successful opportunities with long-term benefits for Milwaukee’s youth. 

Planning must begin now so that we can communicate opportunities widely and effectively, ensuring families receive awareness of and access to programs well before summer begins.…
